A FREE program at no cost to you, participants with qualifying Medicaid /MO Healthnet recipients can choose to hire a trusted family member or friend to be paid to provide services while in the safety of your home. If you don't have a trusted family member or friend no worries we can provide a trusted Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to care for you. A PCA can help with activities of daily living such as : Dressing and grooming, bathing, preparing meals, household cleaning, doing laundry, setting up medications/medication reminders, help with mobility, cleaning equipment, run errands and transportation to doctors appointments.
You must be able and willing to self direct care.
Services available for 60 and older and to adults with disabilities between ages 18-59.
Must be a Missouri resident.
Have Medicaid health insurance or be eligible for Medicaid.
All eligible (PCA's) who are employed to provide CDS services to CDS participants must undergo 4 extensive background screenings through family Care Safety Registery (FCSR), Employee Disqualification List (EDL), Everify and Exclusion List (OIG).
